CARROLL COUNTY, Iowa — A former Iowa teacher has been sentenced to prison for sexually abusing students.
Tuesday, former IKM-Manning school teacher Cassidy Kraus received the maximum sentence of up to 33 years in prison.
In January, Kraus pled guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of lascivious acts with a child, and three counts of disseminating obscene material to minors. She was arrested last October for sexually abusing three boys between the ages of 13 and 14.
Kraus will also be required to register as a sex offender.
